| Hmm. I was thinking of getting the Iiyama 24" WS (the B2403WS), but the
| alternative is the equivalent Samsung (24" WS, I forget the model
| number). There's also a Philips 24" WS in the same price bracket, but

| Anyone else got an opinion on LCD brands? I read somewhere that all the

As for me, I used to have a Dell 19" LCD as my primary monitor, worked just
great, still working perfectly in fact. I got a Hanns-G 19" widescreen
monitor last year, and I haven't had a bad thing to say about it yet. In
fact, I'll be popping another identical monitor on my desktop fairly soon,
so I can use it for my extended desktop and give the old Dell screen to my
daughter.

I will say that I recently worked with a customer who had just received a
Dell 30" widescreen LCD... Holy crap was that thing spectacular, it was
incrediby sharp and had good contrast... He was using it for CAD and 3D
visualization, and it was amazing. Gave me serious monitor envy, until I
saw the pricetag: $1300+.
