I think you need to specify what framerate you find acceptable before
anyone can answer that. Technically a 6600 is capable of max
resolution in Oblivion, but nobody would ever consider it playable.
Personally I have a x1950 Pro, and I'm very happy with its
performance.

Sorry, I didn't realise. To answer your question, I simply don't
know. What framerate would be considered "nice + smooth"? 30? 60?
Sorry, I just haven't got a clue. Something that looks very good.
Perhaps I ought to go for a x1950Pro? Maybe a GeForce 8 series card
will be ok?
