What server is that on?
Elendilmir - it's several guys/gals from here, probably less than at the
start of course. Here's their homepage:

And from what I hear, WoW is far more solo-friendly than lotro, to a fault
apparently.
It can go either way. Most advice for the
typical tank or healer classes tends to be
"use a soloing build and respec when you
hit level 70". Which I think is just wrong,
since you end up never being able to find a
decent tank/healer at low and mid levels.
The veterns like to say "just skip that
lower level content" or "if you spec for
tank/heal then your levelling time will
slow down". Ie, they hate the lower levels
and treat it as a necessary nuisance to
get to the promised land of the expansion,
and advise other players to level past it
as fast as possible.
Heh, just like D2 & GW degenerates who really had/have no idea what playing
(much less *roleplaying*) the game is all about. Fucking I(diot)-Pod
generation - attention span of a gnat on heat.
But anyway, there are some builds that are
difficult to solo; such as a holy priest
built for healing in instances. Other
builds are perfectly fine for soloing but
take a lot longer to kill enemies so that
the vets claim they're "bad" builds based
solely on levelling speed.
Class combo? You mean adventuring class & crafting profession?
No, I mean two characters who always adventure
together. Ie, melee tank plus ranged blaster,
stuff like that. (I'll have alts of course)
Similarly, what two crafting professions would
work together, when two players are always
adventuring together?
This is where LOTRO shines - the crafting profs have been built from the
ground up to be complimentary. There's probably half a dozen+ pairs that
would help each other out in a circular fashion. With 2 chars you can
already cover up to 6 out of the 10 profs. Some of them are even
self-sufficient as they have one gathering prof that feeds one production
prof. Check out http://www.lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Crafting for more
details.
