may totally wipe out high speed network gaming. In
other words, both the console stand-alone market ..

That is why MS is shelling out $$$ to create games that are cross-platform
like Shadowrun, which just came out (coming out soon??) is playable on
Vista and the 360. And by that I mean that someone on a PC will be able to
play against/with a player on a 360.

Cryptic, which put out City of Heroes/Villains, is starting to work on a
cross-platform superhero game based on the Marvel Universe.
