Seems the Jowood site is having more problems than just posting about
bad buggy games, and their split from their coder group at Piranha
Bytes.
Now their moderators have turned into a bunch of punks, mouthing off
at the site members who merely want to generate threads of interest.
Nobody can make a simple observation about what they are finding
in Gothic 3 with out some spoiled brat of a moderator shooting his
face off. Almost all of the posts at this site are now coming from
bad mannered moderators instead of members who are playing the
game. Who needs that ? And screw Jowood and Gothic 4. I'll never
buy another game from them. Bring on the new PC games coming
out this month. MOH, COD4, Crysis. To heck with Jowood and their
ugly attitude towards their customers. No wonder PB dropped them.
I just dropped them too.
This is one of the reasons why I avoid web forums. (Clunky interfaces being another one.) In my book the whole thing would be better handled through an unmoderated USENET group. Some people will argue about the signal to noise ratio in a newsgroup but I prefer that to arrogant moderators and their fanboy lackeys any day of the week.
