What other websites do people use?Usually torrent-finder.com - only way to be sure. The best review is the one
you do yourself <G>
Yup. It's a viable solution when the "legit" review sites are so often filled
with corporate payola inspired drivel.
Hey, don't get me wrong, I buy more than enough games, certainly more
than I can play, more's the pity. And I do look at the demos sometimes
if they're significantly smaller than the full release version. But, I
find more & more that I d/l something, try it for 1-4 hrs & never go
back to it if its mediocre to average, much less complete crap. I
positively refuse to pay AU$70-90 for a game that delivers on not one
promise it makes. There aught to be a law against it in fact :) When I
get to 18-12 hrs & I know I'm gonna keep playing, I try to do the right
thing (as I did with Gothic 3 recently & will do with IWD Ultimate shortly). About the only title I didn't end up buying after more than a dozen hrs was Oblivion (did about 30), but I kept playing that after 10-odd hrs more out of spite to a few ppl here so they couldn't say I had NFI what I was talking about when I said it was soulless crap & a wet sandpit with an emperor with no clothes :)
