I think you are exaggerating. I played Bloodlines with only the unofficial patch 1.2 and it was a great experience and far from the mess many people state it to be.

Maybe playing a Toreador with Celerity and firearms didn't show most of the bugs but I say it again, a lot of the things I fix are not the sort a normal player would notice.
