Does anyone else think the incessant spamming is a sign that sales are down?
It reminds me of people in Guild Wars who are trying to sell something
forever,
and then suddenly just go spaz and spam it like crazy for a bit. People
will even
make smart ass comments like "the more you spam it the faster the buyers
will
line up!"

Blizzard has been pretty successful lately in eliminating gold spam
whispers on WoW - that may be part of it. I noticed the usenet spams
starting up shortly after the whispers vanished.
