All spammers care about is the percentages.
I think they *don't* care about the percentages. It's all about the total
number of respondents, and it doesn't matter how many people they have to
annoy to reach them. If they have to spam 10 million people to reach the
100 people they need, then that's what they do. If they need to spam
10 *billion* people to reach the 100 people who are interested, then
that's what they do. Either way, they are happy. Spam is cheap.
