I already have some bound items, heck, the founder gifts are bound. But
when I found some nice boots and was about to equip them I got a warning
about "do I want to bind these items to me". I just want to make sure
they mean the 'item will only be usable by me' and not 'haha you can never
remove those boots sucker'. It just seemed odd since I didn't get a
warning on my other bound items.
He, he - I had the same thought when I 1st saw that in the beta :)
Items can be either Bound (already yours & yours only); Bind on Acquire
(quest items & similar which bind themselves the moment you receive them) or
Bind on Equip which you can trade, unlike the former 2. You can remove any
of the items any time - they're not like cursed items ;)
Yeah, okay, that's what I thought. Just wanted to be sure.
Oh yeah, I saw one of those giant trees. Yikes. :)
He, he - saw 2 mid-teens dudes hightailin it down the hill today with *2*
Great Oaks after them in hot pursuit. Plus a wolf. Didn't know whether the
wolf was after them or also tryin to get away from the trees lol! I just
stopped & pissed myself laughin (as I'm sure did my bear) as they
steamrolled past :)))
Is there some special way to run away from a battle? I haven't been able
to do that - if I try to run it's just a free for all where the foes get
to attack me all the easier. Seems better to just stand your ground and
fight.
Not that I plan on fighting any trees. Heck, trees aren't evil anyhow,
they're just angry at trespassers. :)
