Which I personally never saw. The C64 version was good fun, that's all I can
say.

Heh, and Daikatana. The game that coined the phrase 'vapourware'. <grin> Never
got to see that either, but I remember the reception being very limp and
underwhelmed when it finally did come out (and many people not believing it
had).

I played Daikatana very briefly and never completed the first area. It never
gripped me and looked terrible.

I finished it, and while it had it's good points (like the different
weapons in the various time zones) it couldn't live up to the hype.

Didn't help that the animators who made the in game movies fucked up big
time in one of them.
While they're busy telling you that the two Daikatanas can't touch (same
sword sourced from different time zones) the movie shows them touching.

And it had the worst dialog ever.

I got my $10 out of it (bought it used from a game store.)
