No. I have not so much as put my DVD in the drive. The DVDs were
pressed in January, IIRC. So all you would accomplish by reinstalling
is forcing yourself to set through a LOT of long patch
download/installs before you could play.
All you have to do is go to the turbine site and put in your retail
key and "upgrade" your account to retail status. Then it asks you
which founder offer you want. I went for the lifetime myself. :)
But but but ... what about the hi-res graphics? I've been playing the
beta will all settings at maximum and the game looks good but I've seen
screenshots of the hi-res graphics and they are definitely sharper. I've
already downloaded the movie/cutscenes as well.
And, can you play for a while before deciding on founder offers? I'll
probably do lifetime but wanted to play a bit before deciding.
