G3: bug fixes not seen before

Before I increased my Cache sizes, I was never able to
complete the quest of escorting the Water Mage in
Lago. I could free him, but he would just walk over
and sit down by the hash pipe, and that was it.
This time, I got extended conversations about him
from everybody in Lago, and after I freed him, I
was able to escort him to a Nomad camp.
In Silden, there is a Nordmarian prisoner who I
am suppose to escort to the Pass. Maybe once
in my games has this quest worked. Mostly I
never get a response from the Orc slave master,
but the quest would complete if I just went to
the pass and killed 4 beasts ???
In Vengard, there was missing conversation with
the head of the guards at Rhobars castle. Now,
that conversation is complete, with a fairly long
dialog about food, weapons, etc from him.
In Faring, the dialog with the arena fighter on
the path into the city made a lot more sense.
In the past, there was obviously missing
dialog.
Haven't reached Ishtar yet, but I'm betting that
all that missing dialog at the Arena will be fixed.
In other words, in G3, certain things MUST be
in Cache / ram so the game does not have to
release its on-screen action to access them.
I notice a few things that have never actuated
for me, and I wonder about them too ... for
example all those "letters". I pick them up, but
I have never gotten anyone to respond to them:
1. letter in case behind arena at Montera
2. letter held by Nomad outside Braga
Also, the Dual Sword training that I'm suppose
to find in Braga has never been offered by anyone
there ?? I think, again, that needs to be in Cache
for certain dialog, but even now it does not show.
However, I did get much more dialog from 2 NPCs
about the return of Aila, and that quest was easy.
There must be more ini edits needed to fix the
missing quests triggered by dialog, but I have
not found them. I did get one fix that was a bit
weird: In Silden, if I whack the Shaman, I get
credit from The Orc Slave Master, plus I get
+1 Hashishin rep. In the past that was nearly
impossible, because it would trigger an attack
by the Orcs and Mercs. Now, I can knock the
Shaman down, walk away, and sneak back
and kill him, and nobody seems to care ...
except I get a brief confrontation from one of
the Orcs outside .. "Sombody's been killing
..... " and I say, "NO" and keep going.
I don't think G3 likes to go to the swap file
for certain things.
