Seriously considering LOTR On line

Need a change in life style for a little bit. Checking out LOTR
online I see that PK types have a special place and must
stay away from the few of us that wish to role play the game
without interference from humans that have nothing to do but
sit up all night to "beef" a killer then reek havoc with a online
game community.

What concerns me is the "lingo" used to chat in online
gaming that is totally out of my sphere of knowledge.

Therefore, should I even attempt this soon to be available
game at my age and lack of understanding of online gamers
and gaming?
