How is it relevant? No sane person will have Vista until it comes pre-
installed on a new PC at least three years hence, and it will probably
be more powerful than the test machine.
Unless the OS is doing some heavy emulation for security purposes,
which seems unlikely, it's not likely to do anything much while you are
playing a game other than sit on an extra chunk of RAM. Even if that's
0.5Gb, you'll have it by that time.
Anyway, the fact that typical games work may serve to reassure the
hysterical morons who post from time to time about how Vista is going
to stop all your old software working.
