Exactly!

6 posts in 75 minutes saying essentially the same thing (though some more
verbose than others)? Is your newsreader not updating to say the first one
was successful?

???!!! Why, Shank, thank you for your kind concern, but as you can see
the posts to which you are referring have been removed (quite a while
ago, already) and should therefore not be anything you should overly
concern yourself with (Murphy's law, you know, I had to post and remove
the same post several time because of a snafu I ran into while
experimenting with "the show quoted text" feature and trying to get the
proper link to appear where I wanted to - the text itself remained
pretty much the same.)

IMHO, I think there is enough material already on this thread to occupy
yourself without having to concern yourself about those posts which
were removed before they ever had a chance to become part of the thread
in any way.

BTW I am sorry you find me "verbose," shank, lol. What can I say?
Guilty as charged, I suppose. Some people are glib, and some people are
overly verbose. This is the way it goes. There is also the middle path
(just like in Oblivion) where one can try not to be too extreme one way
or the other. To each his or her own, eh?

Anyway, and since we are talking about protocol and technical issues,
next time you have a question such as this, to myself or anyone else,
which is of a personal nature, and which, no matter how well intended
it was meant, does not really pertain to the topic at hand, may I
respectfully suggest that, out of courtesy for other on this thread,
your purpose would be better served if you used the "reply to author"
feature (under "show option") so as not to detract from the topic with
something relatively trivial and irrelevant to the debate on this
thread? Thank you for your concern.
