84% is unfavorable now?

My thoughts exactly. The fanboys here are truly deluded. From everything
I've read (& I've read quite a bit believe it or not) it sounds to me like
this game is in all fairness worth a 65-75% score _tops_. It's MW re-hashed,
with admittedly many cosmetic & some *minor* UI & functional improvements, &
a whole new host of balancing issues & bugs. You really have to have a
rose-coloured welding mask on to think this is 90%+ game. This is not my
opinion - I haven't played the game - this is a weighted average (taking
into account the fanboy vocal majority fudge factor :) of overall postings
here, weeding out the masturbatory TES fanatics from the eternal cynics &
trolls, what's left between 3 std deviations seem to hit about 70%.
Personally, I think they should've concentrated on the bugs & the
skill/spell/quest systems instead of worrying about eye candy & bells &
whistles. It's obviously aimed at the XBox 360 consolitis crowd & has been
prettied up & dumbed down to suit. Which is why discerning rpgers like me
are playing GW & Avernum 4 right now instead of this puffed up pea*** drek!

Oh dear, the Christmas Grinch is back in full voice and it's nowhere
near Christmas.

Avernum 4 .. ah yes. I played games like that on one of my Amigas 15
years ago.

Isn't it time you updated your PC ?
