Three choices:
_train your major skills, level up, kill people, loot, sell
_train your tradeskills (merchant, armorer, alchemy) and wander about,
buy, loot, harvest, repair, make, sell.
_cheat

I personally harvest a lot. Locate a few farms, gain access to the mage
university, and when in dire need of money, go harvest like a madman,
convert everything into potions, and sell the packages.
