As for the Star Wars game that has been suggested by a few, I'm not at
all into the whole Star Wars phenomena. I saw the first three films
years ago and enjoyed them but haven't felt the urge to see any of the
newer films. I think it's the space travel theme that doesn't appeal
to me. Medieval and mythical are far closer to my heart.

Ok, that's cleared up your setting preference, but what about the
actual gaming? Do you prefer the kind of RPG where you have to talk to
loads of people, solve puzzles, collect ingredients or components,
finish quests etc. etc. Or do you really prefer finding items which
boost your skills and stats and help you kick ***? I'm not making any
judgement - both are fine ways to play, but if you prefer one or the
other then it will help us make recommendations.
