I find it difficult to believe piracy in this country costs them that many
sales that this sort of draconian measure is necessary. It's like the music
industry blaming downloading for their sinking sales. They used congress and
the courts to stamp out the file sharing applications and guess what? sales
of music CD's continued to decline.
Oh well, they'll still sell enough consoles because most consumers don't
read usenet posts and/or don't worry about this sort of thing. They just
accept it.
