I doubt Jonah is a troll, it seems he got confused by the term "dumbed
down". I thought it was obvious what you meant by the context, but
"dumbed down" could also be used when games have _content_ changed due
to the perceived different demographics of consoles, and that's
clearly what Jonah thought we were discussing.
