I am well aware of the use of binary. "A binary 0" does represent one of two
states, a string of binary bits can represent one of many states. However it
is blatantly obvious that littlemute was referring to binary in a logical
context (not mathematical) of one or the other, in this case good or bad.
So multi-bit binary doesn't really come into it.

I think you need to re-read that sentence, it doesn't actually make sense.
Are you trying to say that math's is maths regardless of what number base
you're Woking in, because the name values can be represented in any number
base.
