Hmmmm... Surely it's the likeness? Like you say, a superhero Jaguar is
not likely to be sued by General Motors, but could Marvel reasonably
sue a MMORGP superhero named Wolverine which looked nothing like
Marvels comic-book Wolverine? After all, like I said, animals are
associated with traits (lions are traditionally strong & wise, asses
dumb etc) and wolverines are traditionally considered ferocious and
fearless.

Naming a particularly ferocious and fearless character 'wolverine' is,
IMO, as logical as naming a green jumping character 'frogman'.

A country *may* be attacked in 2009, but only if polls show democrats will win
the election, and it will if so not be small and defenceless. Iran?
