If the name goes with the uniform and powersets specific to Wolverine (the
comic Book Hero), it will get changed/reported quickly. The recently
settled lawsuit by Marvel against Cryptic/NCSoft only gave more
encouragement for people to do that.

Not if the hero so named also has the costume and powers that Wolverine
has. Then it is quite clearly an attempt to copy a trademarked character.
