It's an abortion. The company that made the game completely
dropped the ball. The 3d engine is crap and as you mentioned
performs piss poor.

The combat is unbalanced and extremely easy. I played at launch
and people were amazed that we never needed to group ever. I met
some players from AC2 whom I had played with and we were just
amazed at how unbalanced the game as.

I think I read that they went bankrupt. No clue how they are
staying afloat. I would steer clear.

If you want to try something different and laid back City of
Villains might be up your ally. No crafting or loot though. Just
constant instancing and costume design.
