Is that always true? I've gotten a few hidden-object games off of
BigFish, without doing anything except downloading the game itself.
(Or rather, downloading the demo, and then paying for an activation
code online.) There is no manager involved.
This is on a Mac; maybe Windows is handled differently.
I haven't gotten a membership, as I do this too rarely for a package
deal to be worthwhile.
My only negative comment is that I never figured out how to get off
their mailing list. I wound up spamfiltering it, and then turning off
the filter when I want them to mail me an activation code.
