I took the DVD of the game out of the DVD Rom drive, (its just one DVD)
and
got into the game OK without the DVD being in the DVD drive. After I
install
a game, I usually just leave the DVD or CD in the drive. This game is
mostly
real scenery of Anacapri. It takes quite a while to install.

How long did it take to install? When I tried I assumed the installer had
crashed it was taking so long. Never got it working.

I notice Andrew replied to your question. I will just add that I can't
remember exactly how long it took, I think it took around 25 or 30 minutes
to install from the DVD. One reviewer said it took 30 minutes to install. As
Andrew said, he installed the game from a hard drive image so would be
faster. Check to see if the hard drive light goes on and off some of the
time during installation. I am playing the game in Win XP which is the
Recommended requirement, though it says Win 98 is minimum requirement on the
box, if you still use Win 98, so should be OK as long as you meet other
requirements. If you don't see the hard drive going on and off at all during
any of the installation after longer than 40 minutes, you could have a
problem with the DVD disc. Hope you get things going.
