Thanks for your help. You are right. I was using a higher Quiktime.
Perhaps that was the problem. I haven't tried to reload it since that day.
If one installs the older quicktime, would it work...or does that mess with
the newer version that is already in the computer.

I don't know what compatibility mode is.

It's unlikely to be a video card problem with a QuickTime game.
You say QuickTime is loaded, but did you use the version that came
with the game? The user comments at Amazon.com say the game won't work
with QuickTime versions later than version 3.

it says the animated characters won't be seen if you have the wrong
QuickTime or your display settings are wrong. Have you tried using
different desktop settings? Have you tried running the game in compatibility
mode?
