Bigger pixels, not neccessarily bigger print. But I know what you
mean.

But 640X480 IS much bigger print in everything including emails
and printing under icons on desktop than 800X768. I checked my
desktop at 1024X768 just now and can hardly read my emails in
Outlook express, and at 1280X1024 I would need a magnifying glass
:)

That's not directly related - only indirectly. With the right font (or
DPI) setting that would no longer be true. But I don't know how good
Win98 is with that (large resolutions wasn't as common eight years ago
as they are now) so what you say may be right for Win98.

.... This may sound as if I'm trying to change your desktop resolution
away from 640x480. I'm not. If that works fine for you then you should
continue using it. I'm just pointing out that resolution and size of
text and other things is not directly related.
