I don't think so, but I am not sure. Both provinces have vast tracts
praire, most of it with enough available water to make farmingfeasible,
For some reason I don't think about Alberta as a prairie province though
it is. I always think of Saskatchewan looking like its fields of wheat
like on the Canadian stamps and Manitoba
sometimes has droughts in summer. Alberta is pictured more with
mountains in the background and the Rockies, Lake Louise, etc. The
climates are quite different as well, i.e. Winterpeg in winter and a lot
of mosquitoes in the summer because of all the standing mud to attract
them. I didn't know that Manitoba also has oil and sells electricity to
the rest of Canada and to the US. It makes me look up geography
information which isn't a bad thing.
