Running Police Quest 4 on XP

G"day all , I have just bought police quest collection and ran all the games
on xp but PQ4 , I couldnt run it in windows mode no matter what i tried but
i could get dos mode to run but with no voice sound. I realy want to play it
in dos mode (full screen) with voice sound. Ive tried dosbox , vdmsound and
abandon loader for my pc with xp but no good.
I have tried my other pc ( 586 ) and got the windows install to work with
win 98SE.

I need to know from everyone that got police quest 4 runing on xp in dos
mode how they did it.
