XP SP3 contains 1174 new fixes. Some of them are probably installed though
Windows Update anyway, but there may be some that are not.

In any case, you should always have the latest SP, mainly because programs
are usually developed and tested on fully updated systems. Nobody wants to
test a program on every conceivable system config and, since service packs
are free, developers assume everyone has the latest one installed.

I tried update driver for agp to cpu controller on xp sp2 but the same
problem.
I don't think sp2 is the issue in my case.
