Look for the file Farcry 2 FOV Hack v4.0. All you have to do is run it and it now has a auto enable feature,which is handy.
I just played for about an hour using the fix and it does make the game a lot easer on the eyes. You can see the GPS when driving now without having to turn your head. It also seems to me to make me feel like I'm taller, which was one thing that bugged me about the game. You can see more of your gun holding arm now, and the best part so far is now being able to see more of the game while holding the upgraded sniper rifle (can't remember what it's called, but it's on awesome weapon!) Before the fix the gun took up almost half of the screen. Now it's lower and farther away from your body. The only thing that is messed up, and this is just me, is it's hard to get used to the viewing angle when driving the swamp boat. Now the fix does place you in the right part of the boat because the seat is on the right side,but without the fix your view is pretty close to center,now I'm sitting over to the right a lot more. And there's some clipping when you look down when your driving the boat.
I highly recommend this to anyone with a 22" or larger WS LCD.

Also I found out that you should set the program to these numbers:
For 16:10
X FOV: 1.31
Y FOV: 1.253

Yes, that's the numbers I used, too.

You can really see how the hack changes things in-game by hitting '/' on the numpad to turn the hack off, and '*' to turn it back on. Do this while sitting in a vehicle and notice how the steering wheel is oval with the hack off and is perfectly round with the hack on. And how the GPS screen goes from rectangular to perfectly square.
