Yes, that's my point as well. Those who care about box-contents will
get this new retail box, while those who don't can always get the
cheaper $20 Witcher and download the patch. Why would someone want to
download the expensive version over Steam then?

Doug and their computer gaming hunger is completely fulfilled through
that fetal attachment called Steam.... in exchange for regular
monetary gifts at the Valve altar.

Walt? Lol, you're not even the real John Lewis. He wouldn't have
cancelled a pre-order for Warhead because he'd never pay full-price for
a game in the first place... early adopters beware and all that..

Why pay full price if sale-bargains stare you in the face.....? You a

For those interested, Crysis: Warhead is available noon tomorrow at
Fry's for $23.99. Comes complete with EA's special variant of DRM,
afaik. ( Spore, Mass Effect etc..)
