I guess if you're really into your games that may appeal. For me the
enhanced version is about fixing the original. I'll be d-loading the
2GB patch. Witcher is an OK game but... why would I want all that tat?

Yes, that's my point as well. Those who care about box-contents will
get this new retail box, while those who don't can always get the
cheaper $20 Witcher and download the patch. Why would someone want to
download the expensive version over Steam then?
