Unlike the impressions I gather from some of these reports, I do not
spend all my leisure hours playing computer games....

So I have only one game that I have been seriously playing
during February and still playing it... when I get a few spare hours.

System Shock 2 with latest patch V2.3..
(with some judicious user-tweaking of the weapons-break and respawn
parameters.)

About 5 years since I last played this classic. Which has given me
enough time to forget most of the details. In terms of real atmosphere
and story-line, Bioshock is a gaudy shallow image of this
truly great game. A stark reminder that more fancy polygons 'n
gimmicks is no substitute for a great background story, great plot
progression, great scripting, great voice-acting, great sound effects
coming together to create great atmosphere in an action-game.

For running classic games such as SS2, I have the benefit of a machine
with a SB16, Voodoo 5 5500, Celeron 1100MHz, WinMe. (My faithful
email/newsreading/legacy-software machine) So zero compatibility
problems. And blissfully fast frame-rate, since the original system
requirement for SS2 was a P2 266MHz...
