This month I have been mostly playing....

- Pro Evo Soccer 2008
A great game for 20 mins of undemanding fun.

- TF2
Tried the new badlands map - it's not great. But TF2 will remain on my PC for months to come. Another undemanding game...

- COD4 (MP)
I'm ranked up to 55, but there are quite a few achievements still to get - not that I'm really chasing them. Not sure how much longer I'll play for - I think it will be like BF2 where it remains installed but gets played less and less.

- Oblivion
*Still* doing the Aid to Bruma quest which is a bit boring after a while - very samey, samey. But it's an easy game to play, not a lot to remember so I'll play it periodically when I get the urge.

- Mahjong Titans
I got bored at work... ok??!

- Dark Messiah
It's entirely on rails (which I dont like) but it also *feels* entirely on rails (unlike, say, HL2). But I paid for it when it came out, so I might as well use it. Unfortunately, there is a bug in it that doesn't like my quad-core/6GB/8800GTS machine, such that after 5 or 10 minutes of playing, the frame rate plummets to around 3fps(!). The only remedy is to save and reload the game. Annoying, but I'm determined to give the game a fair go. Unusually for these games, I've chosen to go to the hybrid magic/stealth route on my first pass.

- Call of Jaurez
Haven't actually started playing again, but thought I'd give the game another go. Basically the Billy stages are a bore, but I'm going to perservere...

- CIV 4
Started another game with my nephew - yet another game that will remain on my PC until a worthy replacement comes. Only problem is it sucks up too much time. I'm having to set the in-game alarm to avoid going to bed too late!
