1. Half-Life 2 Deathmatch

3. FEAR: Extraction Point

I had bought a DVD with the original FEAR and the expansion pack. It
took me half a year to finish FEAR. This was a monotonous game. Oh
well, the money are paid, so that I started FEAR expansion pack. More
of the same.

4. Dark Messiah

This game rocks. Powered by the Source engine. I like this fact. The
combat is very good. As I said, take the combat of Dark Messiah,
combine it with art of Bioshock and the story of... mmm... I do not
know what, and you will have a winner on your hands.

5. Silent Hunter 4

I bought a collectors edition of the game with all the bells and
whistles (colorful books, map, patches), but... I cannot play it
anymore. Too bored. This is a good game. Unfortunately, not up my
valley. I finished the 4 training missions, tried to play a third of
the 12 "quick missions" (and failed in all of them), and I have yet to
play the main mission. A steep learning curve. Too steep.

6. Just ordered Stalker. I have realised I am mostly attracted in a
game by the immersive atmosphere it creates. And a significant part of
immersion is created by the thoughtfully and artfully crafted
environment (e.g. Bioshock). I expect Stalker to live up to the
expectation. The two games I am looking forward in the next month or
two is "Turning Point: Fall of Liberty" and "Cryostasis: The Sleep of
Reason". Though, as for the "Turning Point", I am going to wait for
the actual players reviews before I commit to buying it :-)
