That's all you need to do. Same thing happened to me... I
upgraded my video drivers to the latest version and Crysis
worked fine.

The most recent driver on the nVidia site was from November 6th (163.75)
and alas this made no difference.

Then I remembered John Lewis' post about a beta 169.09 so I grabbed that
one. Microsoft didn't like it but I installed it anyway and ... oh my.

Smooth as silk on medium and graphically very nice. Being greedy, I
upped the textures, shading, particles and sound and it still runs
smooth as silk. I have no words for how stunning it is. I didn't know it
could be like this ... I didn't know it could be like this at all. I
can't even conceive of what it must look like on 'ultra high' settings.

Sold!

Now I just gotta get the hang of this suit.
