Re: What have you been playing... IN SEPTEMBER?

* Spalls Hurgenson:

* STALKER (replay)
I tried STALKER several months back and just couldn't get into it.
It's probably not a bad game; it just doesn't grab me at all.

I'm still replaying STALKER occasionally, but I have to agree: it doesn't grab me really. Probably because the maybe 5 different types of NPCs are just dull, the conversation is dull, too (I just can't stand another "I said come in, don't stand there" any more), the side quests (kill bandits at garbage, purge dog lair) are still repeating (don't know if it's just bad gameplay or one of the dozens still unsolved bugs). Interaction with the environment is just nonexistent. Permanently respawing enemies.

* Onimusha 3 Demon Siege (new)

Isn't that a console game?

* Project Snowblind (replay)
I played Project Snowblind when it first came out several years back
and was underwhelmed; still, I felt I ought to give it a second try.
While I still won't rate it very highly, I did manage to eke some
enjoyment from the game. Once you pick up enough nano-powers and
weapons, the variety in how you can take out various obstacles makes
the game interesting. In many ways, it does everything Bioshock does,
except with a less interesting backstory and an aging graphics engine.

I liked Project Snowblind, it was a good game with interesting gameplay. And it hasn't been hyped like mediocre titles like STALKER and Bioshock.

Alright, that's how I kept myself entertained for the past 720 hours.
The floor is open to you guys now. Go to it!

Well, three weeks ago I bought Alpha Prime but I hadn't any time to look at it. I hope it provides more and longer enjoyment than Bioshock.
