I currently have no intention of buying Vista - but I got
to thinking what would *make* my buy it?
There are few games I would change OS for and, as set up a
dual boot I would probably buy a console instead.
For my part, then, I might buy Vista if it was needed for
GTAIV (is this coming to PC?). Other than that, maybe if
DICE come up with a worthwhile sequel to BF2 (i.e. *not*
something else like 2142, which I no longer play).
I can't think of any other possibility now. I guess if
Steam became Vista only?
What about you lot? What would make you change - or
install dual boot?
Buying a laptop with 17" screen. I want a media style laptop
(with the quick DVD play and control buttons) with 17"
screen but most are Vista only and I read that the WXP
drivers for them are not all available. There are business
laptops and extreme gaming laptops with WXP, but they cost a
lot more than the standard Dell, HP and Toshiba units and I
will use it for gaming only occasionally.
If I buy it from a store that will let me return it then I
could take it back if too many of my programs do not run on
Vista well.
