Is this the future of First Person Shooters? You only have one decent
FPS released each year and it requires you to upgrade and fucking pay
2000 dollars in new hardware and again to play a single game cause
nothing else is released?
Oh no I will not be part of this decay! No SINGLE game can be worth
2000 dollars
Huh!?
I just upgraded my 6 year old AMD Athlon XP to a newer 64 bit 2.x ghz
processor 1 gig ram and a Geforce 7600 256 GT gfx card along with a
$240 19' Samsung widescreen monitor from Best Buy and I get to play
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. at 1440x900 widescreen resolution on High setting and
it runs great and the visuals are the best I have ever seen on an FPS
game.
Oh and I used Bill-Me-Later so I didn't have to pay but for the
monitor. $2000 to play the latest and greatest? Think again!
Maybe if you want MAXIMUM graphics details - but from what I see using
High settings bumped up a little more (static lighting, ok so i lose
dynamic lighting ohh big deal ! my textures and models are on high) I
personally don't see a need for max graphics they look freakin sweet
as it is with this game. And coupled with playing at widescreen? Who
needs anything more!?
Try $1000 for the latest and greatest gaming system. Actually...
widescreen LCD monitor is optional! So $700 for latest and greatest!
