I really didn't know about that, thanks! Now I have to commit the
heinous crime of crossing it off my "things I hate about Steam" list.

Surprised how many people run Steam in the full view instead, and that's
fine but the trick to not view demos and such cannot be applied in that
view. Someone suggested adding desktop shortcuts for the things you want
and not use the Steam menu; someone else suggested Valve should add a
checkbox to hide the stuff you don't have installed.

Still, ain't good.

The Steam interface is ugly and clunky. I hope that Valve are (is?)
working on a more user friendly and aesthetically pleasing revision.
