It's good to hear that UBI Soft has trashed Starforce - they make some

title.
Call of Cthulu is a title I will definitely be getting now.
Thanks to Ubi Soft for making a very common sense choice.
If the lack of Starforce *is* a major reason for the purchase of the
game, send a letter to Ubisoft telling them this. Otherwise they may
take home the message that it is CTHULU or 128MB-VIDCARD-GRAPHICS (or
whatever) that sells the game, and not the lack of overbearing copy
protection.
I'd recommend a snail-mail letter, possibly with a proof-of-purchase
(xeroxed receipt). Keep it short and simple; don't rant about the
evils of Starforce (they've heard it before). Just state your point;
you don't want to come across as a kook, just a customer with some
clear preferences. Make sure they get the RIGHT message.
Excellent point. You don't want them touting what a great game it is,
especially if it isn't, but the fact that you are buying the game because of
the lack of StarForce. At a minimum, maybe people should send letters
anyways thanking them. They will get the point in general that way too.
