Obviously, because there is also retail distribution. If it were 100%
Steam distribution, you'd be playing it right now. But since it isn't,
they also have to worry about keeping their retail distribution partners
happy. Therefore, a simultaneous release on Steam and at retail...
I know, it was a rhetorical question, it is just frustrating to have
the game sitting on my HD and not being able to play it :-)
