I did it. And, I found the problem with the level. The trigger AI is
not
loading in the game. Something like this can happen in games when
the system hardware is not good enough, or the settings are too high,
or there are too many processes running .. and maybe too many junk
stacks in memory. Tonight, I turned on my PC and started the level
from a fresh boot. It was obvious that sequence triggers in the AI
were now working .. respawning was minimized .. my fellow soldiers
were effective in defending the LZ, and the whole thing only lasted
7 or 8 minutes, and I boarded the evac chopper and the level ended.
My system is AMD 64 3000+, 2 gigs ddr400, ATI 9800 Pro 128
running WinXP SP2. And it is not good enough for the MOV graphics
engine with video settings at max. Rebooting fixed that .. for a while.
Pretty sure my next box will cure this problem ... 3700+ with nVidia
7900GTO .. Heh!
