Re: Day of Defeat Source - How is it?

No-one is asking to be able to make hundred-yard headshots with an SMG
in DoD:S. We just want to be able to hit someone when they're standing
ten feet away and we have the crosshairs right on their chest.

The funny thing is, people do get random hundred-yard headshots in
DoD:S purely due to the bullets flying off in totally random
directions: just as they get headshots at ten feet while aiming at the
chest.

As it is, the only way to play with an SMG is to bunny-hop and strafe
while emptying the magazine at them, and hope you get a lucky hit
before they can hit you. Bunny-hopping isn't exactly realistic WWII
tactics, from what I've read on the subject.
