new rights owners could certainly decide to do it.
In that very unlikely event, you could file a counter suit for them
stopping your product from working legally.
But even if this were not the case, basing present decisions on an
intent to commit crimes in the future isn't particularly desirable.
I base my buying decision on the games that are available today and if
they are going to be fun to play. I couldn't give a flying fig if they
are going to run in 20 years or not, I won't be playing them either
way.
