Re: Bungie defends Halo running on Vista

I agree w/W.M. on this one. The singleplayer was fun, the vehicles were well
done. I don't know when Halo was released for the PC, but when it came out
for Xbox it would've compared favorably to any FPS on any platform (as far
as graphics, sound and game design).

I don't get it. Who the hell cares what Halo2 runs on?

Thats what I was thinking. Its a console port of a game that two years
old, and essentially from an obsolete game system.

If the announcement was that Halo 3 was going to be a simultaneous
launch for PC and XBox 360 and it would require Vista, I could
possibly see someone caring. Whatever.

Halo stank and was way behind the other FPS games for PC. If MS think
that
restricting Halo 2 to Vista (as you say already an old game now!) then
they
have their heads further up their arses than I thought.

While everyone is, of course, open to their opinion, how do you
justify such a sweeping statement as "Halo stank"?

Did you play the MP?

In what way was it behind other FPS? The graphics were refreshingly
bright and well defined, the game played through bug free (for me) and
was a decent length and the levels were (generally) a nice variety.

I can understand it not being your cup of tea, but to brand it as
"stinking" is simply unfair.
