Re: New Gamer pissed off already

I have been saying that problems like this persons are what is keeping PC
down and having their problems. Hell no he shouldn't have had to come here
first. that is no his obligation. It is the obligation of the hardware and
software manufacturers to make stuff that works out of the box like it is
advertised or represented to do. usually everybody in here many of who are
tech people think that computers are so special that they need special rules
and investigation. Bull***, Doctors lawyers Airplanes medicine all need
to do what they say no matter how complicated without the consumer having to
do anything but turn it on or what is ever represented. Not download
patches, drivers, and the like. Quick example I just got Sniper Elite and
guess whets in the read me. Right now people who have Certain AMD type
motherboards and chips and SoundBlaster live sound programs well the game
won't work. Gee there is a rare combination that of course I have.
We are loosing so many new gamers because of complications in
installation and things just requiring to much tinkering. many of us may
even enjoy it but those of you who keep putting down those of us who want
stuff to work pretty much just as easy as any other product are the same
ones that wonder why no growth in the PC gaming industry. It's a standard
argument by every industry that thinks they are special and they all do from
my brothers the *** lawyers to Doctors to builders, everybody needs
special rules because well they are special. Bull*** stuff should do
pretty much what it says and for however long it says with no hidden
surprises.
I want new gamers because it gives gaming companies more money to
develop better more original games than sequels which usually even still
have the same bugs from one generation to the next. Those gaming
executives that don't even play games making all the money are just smiling
as we talk about how we the consumer are to blame and let the buyer be ware
which went out as the law years ago.
